Staff Sergeant Tanner Edwards
Tanner was a 2008 graduate from Lakeview High School and was employed at the Pa. Department of Corrections as a corrections officer.
He had an amazing smile, quick whit and a fun loving personality that was infectious! He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Tanner was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, and served his country as part of the Army National Guard 107th Field Artillery Battalion. He was a combat war veteran at the age of 20.
After returning home from his deployment he struggled with PTSD, anxiety, depression and addiction.
Tanner passed away 2 days prior to his 26th birthday, leaving behind a 3 year old daughter and countless family and friends who adored him.
He is missed each and every day!
